IoPT Stockholm Weekend 1 & 2 April 2023

IoPT Weekend “Intimacy, sexuality and relationships” in Stockholm with Sytze Wierda

Join us in an insightful weekend in Stockholm where we will dive into Identity oriented Psychotrauma theory/therapy (IoPT).

On Friday evening March 31st, Sytze will lecture with the title: Intimacy, sexuality, and relationships as seen through the lens of IoPT. There will be room for questions and answers. After that, there will be an informal part to meet and greet.

During the seminar, on Saturday and Sunday, April 1st and 2nd, Sytze will facilitate people who want to investigate a topic on the basis of their intention.

What to expect from the seminar

The weekend IoPT seminar will primarily focus on self-encounters by the participants. After the opening sharing circle, the day will be filled with IoPT processes. Each day will host at least 3 processes, one process before lunch and two processes after lunch. Lunch times will be flexible but around the indicated time.

A process is where somebody formulates an intention or need for themselves and investigates that by means of a self-encounter. At first glance, it might look similar to family constellations, with people who resonate in the service of the investigating person. However, these self-resonances have identity, autonomy, and trauma as core issues and will show quite different dynamics. Afterward, Sytze will indicate the main dynamics so it will be a learning event for facilitators as well. Click here for further reading.

About the trainer Sytze Wierda (1963)

Licensed international IoPT psychotrauma educator by Prof. Dr. Franz Ruppert and recommended IoPT practitioner by Vivian Broughton. Sytze is the first one to offer an accredited education to become an IoPT facilitator and a.o. an accredited supervision program in the Netherlands. He is a registered therapist and also offers couples coaching.

Sytze’s guidance is strongly focused on presence and quickly hits the core of complex patterns. That is the essence of his work. With his warm, cordial manner, he radiates security and strengthens trust, acceptance, and love for one’s own personality.

He incorporates his own journey, experience, and education to help you experience where you are not true to yourself. He has lived through much of what his students and clients go through. He has learned to be present as a partner, to be transparent and not to be blown away when it storms. Sytze found his base and he is happy to help you find yours.
